Para rowing experience in Paris.

In 2026, I took part in an international para rowing development camp in Paris. My participation is mentioned in a World Rowing Academy publication about the Paris para rowing programme.

Part of my professional journey

International para rowing adds to the practical experience I gain through working with people with disabilities. The Paris camp is one example of my participation in this kind of programme.

I came to this experience with a background in competitive rowing, a bachelor’s degree in sport and experience of working in inclusive sports activities.

How it connects to my work today

My work includes rowing with children and people with disabilities. My earlier experience with JUDU365 also involved adapted rowing and surfing. International participation forms part of this broader professional journey.

In my vision for a future Eglė Moves space, accessibility should be considered from the very beginning: from equipment and surroundings to clearly organised sessions. This direction builds on my ongoing work and my wish to expand people’s opportunities to take part in sport.

Where to read more

My participation is described in the World Rowing Academy article “Paris 2026 Para Rowing Regatta: A Platform for Development, Education and Research”. You can find a timeline of my professional experience and details of my education on the About Eglė page.

If you are interested in current rowing opportunities for a child or adult, the Training page describes the activities and explains how to get in touch. The details are discussed before a session is agreed.
